XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

What's new in XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager and XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service 2.5.2

Version 2.5

Controlling content export to XTM Workbench, for use in Visual mode

In XTM Cloud connector 2.5, you can control the way that content is exported to XTM Workbench, for use in Visual mode. To do so, you can specify whether or not data-previewnodepath attributes are to be generated.

For details, see Visual mode content: disabling generation of data-previewnodepath attributes.

Retaining customized language mappingss

In some cases, reinstalling an instance of XTM Cloud connector caused the customized language mappings in it to be overwritten by the default languages in XTM Cloud. Now, any customized language mappings defined in a particular instance of XTM Cloud connector are retained. No configuration changes are required to achieve this: it works out of the box.

Support for Experience Fragments translation

AEM Experience Fragments are not a standard content type, so they will not be sent for translation unless they have been added to the Adobe Experience Manager Translation Configuration, as a resource type. It is now possible to do so: see Enabling support for Experience Fragment translation. Experience Fragments are then handled just like any other translatable content.

Version 2.5.2

These notes apply to XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager version 2.5.2, which supports Adobe Experience Manager version 6.5.10 or higher, and XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service version 2.5, which supports AEM as a Cloud Service version CLOUD-2022.9.8722 or higher.

XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager and XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service are referred to collectively as XTM Cloud connector.
