Uninstalling an installation package

You should only uninstall an installation package if advised to do so by XTM International Support. If you do so, your XTM Cloud connector system will revert to the previously installed version. This version might not work correctly if its configuration differs from the more recent version, which you want to uninstall.

Caution

If you decide to uninstall an installation package and downgrade your system to an earlier version, we recommend that you trial the change in a test environment before implementing it on your production system.

This procedure for uninstalling an XTM Cloud connector installation package is only applicable for the stand-alone version, XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager. You do not have to uninstall an existing installation package before upgrading to a new, more recent version.

To uninstall an XTM Cloud connector installation package:
  1. Log in to Adobe Experience Manager.

  2. In the Navigation screen, select the Tools icon on the left.

  3. In the Tools screen, select the Deployment option in the menu on the left.

  4. Select the Packages icon. The CRX Package Manager, containing a list of installed installation packages, is displayed.

  5. In the list, find the installation package that you want to deinstall.

  6. Select the package name, in the list. An overview of the package details is displayed.

  7. Select the More button in the overview title bar. A context menu is displayed.

  8. Select the Uninstall button in the context menu.

  9. At the prompt, select Uninstall to uninstall the package or select Cancel to leave the package installed.
