XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

Language mapping between Adobe Experience Manager and XTM Cloud

The source and target languages available in Adobe Experience Manager are listed in a file stored on this path, on the server on which Adobe Experience Manager is installed: /libs/wcm/core/resources/languages. For languages to be assigned to source and target content correctly, in XTM Cloud, they must be mapped to XTM Cloud source and target languages. The XTM Cloud connector has a language mapping list for this purpose. Its file is stored on the same server, on this path: /apps/xtm/config/xtm/languageMapping.

Note

If the language codes used in Adobe Experience Manager change, the language code mapping to XTM Cloud must also be updated. For example, if you add a new language to the available languages list, in Adobe Experience Manager, you must update the Adobe Experience Manager to XTM Cloud language code mapping too.

This ensures that all the language codes used to identify source and target languages in Adobe Experience Manager map to valid XTM Cloud language codes.

Important

Do not make any manual changes to the Adobe Experience Manager languages list, /apps/xtm/config/xtm/languageMapping: the /libs directory in which it is stored is restricted and any changes you make manually can be overwritten by Adobe Experience Manager installation packages.

You can perform these two language mapping-related tasks:
