XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

Basic configuration tasks

Once you have installed your XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager instance, you need to configure the Translation Cloud service for sending content to XTM Cloud, for translation, from Adobe Experience Manager.

Perform these basic configuration steps:
  1. Configure XTM Connector OSGi services.

  2. Create a configuration folder in CRXDE Lite, in Adobe Experience Manager. (Only necessary if you have multiple instances of the XTM Cloud connector. Example configuration path: conf > global. Other folders with different configurations are available. Example: conf > retail. We recommend you use the default configuration folder, which is created when you install the XTM Cloud connector.

  3. Specify an HTTP proxy in Adobe Experience Manager for connection to XTM Cloud.

  4. Configure Translation Cloud Services in Adobe Experience Manager, to enable translation content to be sent to XTM Cloud for translation. You can create as many cloud configurations as you need for the connector.

  5. Configure the default translation content format in Adobe Experience Manager.

  6. Configure language mapping between Adobe Experience Manager and XTM Cloud.

  7. Arrange for missing languages to be added to the XTM Cloud connector

Note

When you upgrade the XTM Cloud connector to a higher version, check the configuration settings and ensure that they are still correct.
