XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

Rejecting translation jobs and returning them to XTM Cloud

If manual translation approval has been set for a project, you have the option to reject a translation in Adobe Experience Manager. If you do so, it will automatically be sent back to XTM Cloud for reworking.

To reject a translation job manually:
  1. In the global Navigation screen, select the Projects icon. You see the Projects screen.

  2. In the Projects screen, open the project whose translation job(s) you want to reject and send back to XTM Cloud for rework. You see a summary screen containing the project's translation jobs and other details.

  3. At the top of the Translation Job pane, select the down arrow to display the dropdown.

  4. Select the three-dot menu in the Translation Job pane to open the translation job.

  5. Select one or more of the pages in the list. Two buttons (Accept Translation and Reject Translation) are displayed at the top of the screen, on the left.

  6. Select Reject Translation. A Reject Translation popup is displayed.

  7. Enter a comment about the translation, if required.

    Note

Comments here are not intended to provide information to Linguists in XTM Cloud. Any comment you enter here will not be visible in XTM Cloud.

  8. In the popup, select Reject again.

Result: The translation job has the status Rejected and is sent back to XTM Cloud for reworking. When that begins, the status changes to Translation in Progress. The final step in the translation workflow in XTM Cloud is reactivated to enable the translation to be reworked and finished.
