XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

In the global Navigation screen, select the Projects icon. You see the Projects screen.

In the Projects screen, open the project that you want to send for translation. You see a summary screen showing the project's translation jobs and other details.

In the Summary pane, on the left, select the three dots icon. The Translation Project Properties window is displayed.

Select the Advanced tab.

In the Advanced tab screen, change the Cloud Configuration setting to a path containing your preferred translation service provider’s settings. You can do this manually or choose a path from the available list under the tick box.

In the Translation Project Properties window, select Save & Close. You see the summary screen showing the project's translation jobs and other details again.

At the top of the Translation Job pane, select the down arrow to display the dropdown.

Select Request Scope.

When the analysis has finished, select Show Scope. The project metrics are displayed.

(To display the scope information in more detail, in XTM Cloud, select Details > Allow. The XTM Cloud Project Metrics page is displayed.)

To send the project for translation, select the down arrow at the top of the Translation Job pane, to display the dropdown.

Select Start.

Result: The project is sent to XTM Cloud for translation. The project Status changes to Translation in progress.

In the Translation Job pane, select the three dots icon. The translation job details screen is displayed. You see:

• your translation job status ("New") in the STATUS column and

• your translation job state ("Submitted") in the STATE column.

To return to:

• the Translation Project Properties window, select the down arrow at the top of the translation job details screen, by the screen title. Example: Translation Job [DE].

• the Projects window, select the back arrow at the top left-hand corner of the translation job details screen.
