Installing the installation package

Once you have uploaded the XTM Cloud connector installation package, you can install it in Adobe Experience Manager.

To install the installation package:
  1. Log in to Adobe Experience Manager.

  2. In the Navigation screen, select the Tools icon on the left.

  3. In the Tools screen, select the Deployment option in the menu on the left.

  4. Select the Packages icon. The CRX Package Manager, containing a list of installed installation packages, is displayed.

  5. Select the installation package that you want to install.

    Tip

    If you have just uploaded the installation package, select Show > New packages in the menu on the left to find and select it.

  6. To install the package, select Install. The package is installed.

  7. Refresh the page. To the right of the manually installed package, you see a green bar, and "OK". This indicates that the package has been installed correctly. Four XTM Translation Connector sub-packages are also extracted from the package that you have just installed manually.

    The four sub-packages are:

    1. xtm-for-aem.ui.config-[version-number].

    2. xtm-for-aem.ui.content--[version-number].

    3. xtm-for-aem.ui.apps--[version-number].

    4. xtm-for-aem.all--[version-number].

  8. Three OSGi bundles are also extracted from the package that you have just installed manually. These bundles should be installed automatically.

    The three OSGi bundles are:

    1. com.xtm.translation.connector.xtm-for-aem.api.

    2. com.xtm.translation.connector.xtm-for-aem.core.

    3. com.xtm.translation.connector.xtm-for-aem.rest.openapi.

    Follow these instructions to view the OSGi bundles, check that they have been installed, and install them manually, if necessary: Checking and installing XTM Translation Connector OSGi bundles.

  9. Once all packages have been installed, select OK.

    Result: The installation package is installed and displayed in the CRX Package Manager list.

If required, you can now view the details for the installed package.
