Introduction
XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service and XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager are plugins that integrate AEM as a Cloud Service/Adobe Experience Manager with XTM Cloud to enable the translation of website content and creation of multilingual websites.
Note
Adobe Inc. uses a short form of "Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service", which is "AEM as a Cloud Service". This short form is used throughout this Guide.
In this Guide, these naming conventions are used:
XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service and XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager are referred to collectively as XTM Cloud connector, their user interface name in Adobe Experience Manager.
They are only referred to by their full individual names if there are differences in, for example, installation, configuration or translation-related, procedures.
AEM as a Cloud Service and Adobe Experience Manager are referred to collectively as Adobe Experience Manager unless it is necessary to differentiate between them.
This manual is intended for XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service Client administrators. They will be assigned to the "project-administrator" group in Adobe Experience Manager.
This manual provides information for Client administrators about how to:
install XTM Connect – AEM as a Cloud Service in Adobe Experience Manager.
perform other configuration tasks such as:
configuring translation service providers.
mapping languages between Adobe Experience Manager and XTM Cloud.
adding a missing language.
configuring XTM Visual mode mapping.
configuring DITA support.
configuring the way that cancelled projects are handled.
Note
When working with the XTM Cloud connector, ensure that you are:
using a supported browser.
using the correct version of XTM Cloud, version 13.0 or higher.
