XTM Connect – Adobe Experience Manager

Adding a custom language mapping to the mappings list

If you add a new language code to Adobe Experience Manager, (example: en-us), a new language mapping also needs to be set in the mappings list.

To add a custom language mapping to the mappings list:
  1. In Adobe Experience Manager, select the General tab.

  2. In the General screen, select CRXDE Lite. The CRXDE Lite screen is displayed.

  3. In the content tree, select the /apps/"customerCompany"/config/xtm/languageMapping folder. Here, "customerCompany" represents the name of your company. Change it to your company name. /libs/wcm/core/resources/languages

  4. Select a listed language, that you want to change, and copy it.

  5. Paste the copied language into the Languages node, rename it to reflect the language you have added (in this example, "en-us"), and save your changes.

  6. Click any other languages on the list and click on the newly added language again. A tab with Properties is displayed in the main window.

  7. Under Properties, double-click the languageMapping entry on the Value tab and set it to one of the values that already exist. Example: "en_US". Otherwise, XTM Cloud might not be able to recognize the language.

  8. Click Save All.
