Cancelling translation projects

In XTM Connect – Sitecore, you can only cancel a translation project whose XTM Status is not Finished or Cancelled. If you cancel a translation project there, this only cancels the project in XTM Cloud. The translation project is not removed from the Translation queue, but remains there. Its XTM Status changes to Cancelled. For details of how to remove a translation project in XTM Connect – Sitecore, see Removing translation projects from the queue.

From the Translation queue, you can use the Actions menu to:

  • cancel a single project or

  • cancel one or more projects at the same time.

To cancel one or more translation projects using the Actions menu:
  1. Select the cancelled translation project or projects that you want to remove. To do so, select the checkbox to the left of each relevant project name.

  2. Select the Actions menu at the top of the screen, on the left.

  3. Select the Cancel option. A Cancel popup is displayed and you are prompted to cancel the project(s).

  4. In the popup:

    • To confirm that you want to cancel the project(s), select Cancel items.

      Result: a screen message confirms that you have cancelled the project(s).

    • If you do not want to cancel the project(s), select Cancel. The popup closes.
