Upgrading to a newer version of XTM Connect
The upgrade procedure is the same as the installation procedure. However, it is important to create a backup copy of the XTM Translation folder, and any customized XTM Connect items, first. Examples: language mappings and translation progress data. When the upgrade package is installed, existing XTM Connect settings remain unchanged.
Warning
We recommend that you finish all translation projects, in XTM Cloud, and import them into XTM Connect, before upgrading to a newer version. Also ensure that the XTM Connect Translation queue is empty.
