4 Workflow settings for imported translated content section

In this section, you can choose which workflow step to assign to imported translated content. When you configure XTM Connect – Sitecore, in Sitecore, this section follows the Workflow settings for content in translation section in the Content Editor Settings window.

Use the workflow state from the workflow marked as in "Imported" in the XTM Connector node checkbox

Select this checkbox if required.

Note

This setting takes precedence over the next one: if you select both, this setting will be applied.

To check which workflow state has been assigned to the Imported workflow:
  1. In the main Sitecore screen, select the Content Editor icon. You see the Content Editor screen.

  2. Select the arrow to the left of the System folder at the bottom of the list.

  3. Select the arrow to the left of the Workflows folder.

  4. If the Imported workflow that you want to view is not contained in the Workflows folder, select the arrow to the left of the relevant folder. Example: "XTM Translation".

  5. Select the Imported workflow. Its details are displayed on the right of the screen.

  6. Scroll down to the Workflow section. If a default workflow state has been defined for the Imported workflow, it will be displayed in the State field there.

Use initial state from existing workflow checkbox

This setting is an alternative to the previous one. Select this checkbox if required.

Workflow step for imported translated content

If required, select an appropriate workflow step for content that is imported after translation, from the dropdown. We recommend "Approved", but you can, for example, select a different workflow step if required in your company.
