Changing or resetting a Sitecore password
If you want to change your Sitecore password, or forget it, and need to reset it, follow these steps:
In the Sitecore Login screen, select Forgot your password?.
In the Reset password screen, enter your email address in the Email field.
Select Send email.
An email will be sent to your email address from Sitecore, prompting you to reset your password. Sitecore will display a message on screen to tell you that the email has been sent.
In your email Inbox, open the email sent to you, prompting you to reset your password.
In the email, select the Reset password button. You see the Change password screen in Sitecore.
Enter your New password.
In the Confirm new password field, enter your new password again.
Save your new password.
Select Log in to log in to Sitecore.
