XTM Connect – Bridge for Translation Memory: importing TMs to XTM Cloud
A customer's translation memory (TM) files in TMX format can be sent to XTM Cloud from the source system, using the XTM Connect – Bridge for Translation Memory variant. The TM data (translation units) they contain is then available for immediate use in translation projects.
Note
This TM data does not return to XTM Connect – Bridge or the CMS with which it is integrated: it is simply copied and sent to XTM Cloud so that it is available for use.
To enable TMs to be imported to XTM Cloud, the appropriate directories need to be configured on the server on which XTM Connect – Bridge for Translation Memory is installed. For details, see Server configuration for TM import to XTM Cloud.
