Configuration
Once XTM Connect – Sitecore has been installed, you must configure it, in Sitecore, before it can be used by Translation requesters:
Configure the basic XTM Connect – Sitecore parameters, in the Settings configuration page.
Configure the additional functions or features listed below, some of which are optional:
The XtmConnectorBaseTemplate. It needs to be configured because the templates applied to translation content inherit properties from the XtmConnectorBaseTemplate.
Add new languages to the Sitecore system, if required.
Enable import of large content files for translation, if necessary (because large files might require additional configuration to enable them to import correctly).
Configure XTM Visual mode for Sitecore content in XTM Workbench, if required.
Create a custom action for a workflow state, if required.
Make additional routing and security settings, if necessary.
Note
As an alternative to configuring XTM Connect – Sitecore manually, it is possible to set up automated configuration. See Using a bespoke XML file for automated configuration.
