Drupal translation environment
The content types that are translatable in your instance of Drupal are set in the plugin configuration. Your local Drupal system administrator is responsible for this configuration.
You perform translation-related activities in two Drupal screens:
The Content screen. In it, all content items present in the Drupal instance you are looking at are listed. To display the Content screen, select the Content button from the main Drupal toolbar. For details of actions you can perform in this screen, see Content screen actions.

In the Content screen, you can create, see and process content items in their original language. You create these items, or prepare them for translation, there. Actual translation processing is performed in the Translation tab screens described below.
The Translation screen. It contains a list of links to a variety of tab screens, described in the table below. To display the Translation screen, select the Translation button from the main Drupal toolbar.

Contains an overview of all job items. In Drupal, a job item is a content item (usually a file containing translatable text) in a job. | |
Contains an overview of all jobs. In Drupal, a job is a translation job. It can contain more than one translatable content item (known as a job item). When a job is sent to XTM Cloud for translation, it is known as a translation project, or simply project. | |
Contains an overview of source content items present in the local website. You can select these content items and send them to XTM Cloud for translation. The list shows both the content items and the languages into which they have been, or can be, translated. You can filter the overview to display only relevant content items. You can also add selected or all content items to existing continuous (translation) jobs manually, in this tab screen. | |
The Drupal jobs (translation projects) queue. Contains a list of all jobs that are ready to send to XTM Cloud (the selected translation provider) for translation. | |
Contains a list of all configured (translation) providers, such as XTM Cloud. Configuring providers is an Administrator task: see Configuring XTM Connect – Drupal as the translation provider in the Administrator Guide. | |
