Licensing
There are many ways in which you can leverage the unique advantages of XTM - the Translation Management System with a built-in translation memory, terminology and CAT tools.
XTM Suite
XTM Suite is an on-premise solution hosted on your own server infrastructure.
XTM Suite is offered with Enterprise accounts subscriptions. You can create any number of users in the system, but only the licensed number of users can be logged in at the same time. All types of users (Administrator, Project Manager, Linguist, etc.), except Customer Project Managers, are counted as licensed users.
XTM Cloud
XTM can be hosted on:
Private Cloud
It is a single-tenant deployment of XTM Cloud.
XTM Private Cloud is offered with Enterprise accounts subscriptions. You can create any number of users in the system, but only the licensed number of users can be logged in at the same time. All types of users (Administrator, Project Manager, Linguist, etc.), except Customer Project Managers, are counted as licensed users.
Public Cloud
It is a standard, multi-tenant deployment of XTM Cloud.
XTM Public Cloud licensing depends on the account type purchased:
Enterprise account - for 5 or more concurrent, not named users. You can create any number of users in the system, but only the licensed number of users can be logged in at the same time. All types of users (Administrator, Project Manager, Linguist, etc.), except Customer Project Managers, are counted as licensed users.
Group account - for up to 4 named users. In this type of account, the number of active Users will need to match the number of licenses purchased. Administrators can log in even if all licenses are booked, because they need to be able to purchase more licenses from the Administrator settings.
Freelance account - for a single named user.
Note
A registered XTM Portal user can have the option to be configured as Customer Project Manager with the Create and view access rights. In this case, it does not count as a licensed user.
However, if this account type is upgraded to provide full access to the Project Manager module in XTM, then they are counted as a licensed user.
