Accepting a task by a linguist
Go to the list of Planned or Active Tasks.
Click the context menu
icon next to the task.From the dropdown list select Accept tasks or Decline task. The available options for accepting tasks are:
Accept this task
Accept this task for all steps of this language
Accept all tasks for this step of this language assigned to me
Accept all tasks for this language assigned to me
Accept all tasks for this step assigned to me
Accept all tasks in this project assigned to me
If you have neither accepted nor declined the task from your active or planned tasks list, in XTM Workbench you will see the task in view mode. On the top of the screen click Accept to start working on the task, or Decline to refuse it.
Note
Ensure to either accept or decline tasks assigned to you as soon as possible. This will enable you to start working on your task on time and at the same time the project delivery won’t be affected.
