Why are texts not highlighted on previews?

Problem:

Texts are not highlighted when I hover over or right-click them on previews.

Possible causes and solutions:

  • You are using a non-compatible browser. It is recommended that you use a supported browser, such as Google Chrome. For details, see the Supported browsers section.

  • RigiJS is not activated. Ensure the Rigi Chrome extension is installed and activated for the current page. For details, see the Install Rigi injector for Chrome guide.

  • Rigi language is not selected. Ensure you selected the correct language with Rigi tokens in your application.

  • Texts do not have fingerprints. Strings that do not have a Rigi fingerprint will not be recognized. If you spot those, you should report an internationalization issue or contact the project manager.

UI texts should have Rigi fingerprints. If some data were entered manually, for example, a name or an address, it would not have fingerprints and thus could not be selected. For more information, see the Rigi tokens section.

  • You have opened more than one tab or window in live mode. If you open a second tab with live links, Rigi will not recognize the strings in its previews. Copy the URL from the second tab to the first live tab. This way, the texts will be recognized so you can select, highlight, and replace them.
