Issue types

Language testers can report the following issue types:

  • Translation issues – linguistic issues that must be fixed by translators. Language testers report translation issues (see the Create a LAT issueguide) according to the categories selected in the project's quality profile (for details, see the Create a quality profile guide).

  • Non-translation issues:

    • I18n issues – internationalization issues, such as hardcoded strings that cannot be translated. These issues can be fixed by developers. For details, see the Correct i18n issues guide.

    • Source issues – errors in the source texts, such as typos. Those issues can be corrected by developers or copywriters, depending on the issue's origin.

    • Rigi issues – issues caused by a defect in Rigi, such as lack of support for specific elements used on a preview. Those issues will be fixed by the Rigi team.
