Give access rights to unregistered (anonymous) users
Rigi allows anonymous users to view HTML previews and issues from language testers and (optionally) to mark issues as fixed.
There are currently two use cases for this functionality:
Auto-login to the Rigi Viewer in Passolo.
Open URLs from Excel files that were exported from the language test environment.
Warning
Use this feature with care!
Access is gained via an access code. Any person with an access code can:
view HTML previews for this project.
view review issues
(if enabled) change the status of review issues.
We recommend assigning external translators instead.
Open the required project.
In the project menu, select Settings > Access.
Switch on the Unregistered users can access review issues and previews by entering an access code toggle.
Click the Save button. The access code will be generated and displayed. You can now copy this code and send it to the required person.
Warning
The generated access code expires in 72 days. Persons with this code will get read-only access to several parts of your project (e.g., previews, issues, and project settings). Share the access code with caution!
(Optional) Allow users to change the status or review issues by switching the Grant users permission to change the status of issues (i.e. fixed or open) toggle.
Click the Save button.
To find out about other access settings, see the Project settings – Access rights section.
