Export a project

Important

Settings and actions described below are only available for Rigi subscribers. For details, see the User roles section.

You can export a project in a ZIP file that contains all the project's contents or just the selected parts.

Warning

We cannot guarantee that reimporting an exported ZIP file containing a project will be possible in all future versions of Rigi.

Saving a project in a ZIP file is, therefore, not a safe backup strategy.

  1. On the dashboard, select My projects.

  2. Hover over the project you want to export and click the Export.png icon.

The Export project popup is displayed.

  3. (Optional) To anonymize users, switch on the Anonymize names and emails toggle. If you enable this feature, users names will be changed to ‘translator 2’, ‘reviewer1’, etc., and their email addresses will not be exported.

  4. Select the content that is to be exported.

  5. Click the Export button.

Important

Exporting a very large project can take between a few minutes and a couple of hours.

Do not close the window until exporting has finished.

After the exporting has finished, the project’s ZIP file with all the selected content will be downloaded to your local machine.
