    1. Enter the project name.

  4. In the Your application section, perform the following:

    My_application.png

    1. Select the application platform: Web, Silverlight, or WPF. The selected platform defines which characters will be used as Rigi tokens.

    2. Select the Rigi token format: default (Unicode), Alphanumeric or Alphanumeric tilde.

By default, Rigi tokens are decoded using invisible Unicode characters. If your application does not support Unicode characters, select an Alphanumeric decoding.

Alphanumeric tilde decoding is similar to Alphanumeric decoding but uses ~ instead of % signs.

    3. (Optional) For connecting to a Web or Silverlight application, you can enter the live URL to the staging application.

You can enter the URL later, in the project’s Settings > General section.

    4. Click the Next button.

  5. In the Translation management section, perform the following:

    Translation_management.png

    1. Specify whether you will manage files in the workspace.

Manage files in workspace setting is enabled by default. It means that the Rigi server parses the files. In some exceptional cases, file parsing can be managed outside the Rigi server (for example, in SDL Passolo).

    2. Select the pseudo language.

The sole purpose of this language is to store Rigi tokens. It is only needed for localization purposes on a staging server.

    3. Select target languages.

You can select target languages later in the project. To do this, go to Texts > Overview and click the Add target languages button in the top right-hand corner.

    4. (Optional) If your application supports bidirectional languages such as Arabic and Hebrew, make sure that the Application supports Bidi toggle is enabled. For details, see the Enable BiDi support section.

    5. Click the Next button.

  6. In the Technical users section, perform the following:

    1. Select technical users for this project.

    2. To add all technical users, select the checkbox in the header.

    3. Click the Next button.

You will only see this wizard page if technical users have been defined in your system

For details about technical users, see the Manage technical users for APIs section.

  7. In the Review section, perform the following:
