Editable fields

The dialog to enter an issue has one or more of the following fields. Depending on the quality profile the project manager selected for this language test, the fields can be optional or mandatory.

Description

Error category

The error categories depend on the quality framework. An error category can have sub-categories. You can select main and sub-categories.  Clicking the field will open the Error category popup. For details, see the Select the error category guide.

Priority

The priority indicates how fast an issue must be resolved.

Translation preferential change (not applicable for non-translation issues).

Low

Nice-to-have functional or source text improvement; small linguistic issues such as minor spelling or punctuation mistakes.

Medium

Does not affect the functionality's usage but impacts user experience, e.g., meaning mistakes and grammar errors.

High

Causes great difficulty in using functionality or impacts confidence in the product.

Very high

Showstoppers, interruptions of business, or loss of data.

Comment

Free text.

Translation

The project manager can permit the language tester to edit the translation or suggest a translation.

Edit translation

Edit the translation. Your changes will be immediately stored in the project.
