Clone a project

Important

Settings and actions described below are only available for Rigi subscribers. For details, see the User roles section.

A clone is a 'deep copy' of a project that includes all its data.

It can be used to:

  • create a new project based on an existing one.

  • export a project to a ZIP file and send information to the Rigi development team for analysis purposes. For details, see the Export a project guide.

  • create a new project by reimporting a ZIP file that contains project content. For details, see the Import a project from a ZIP file guide.

This guide describes how to create a new project based on an existing one.

  1. On the dashboard, select My projects.

  2. Hover over the project you want to clone and click the Clone.png icon.
