Viewing or hiding text decoration

Note

The file you want to open must be in one of the supported formats (for details, see Visual mode in XTM Workbench).

When you select content in the Visual mode target preview, text decoration highlights the selected text and activates the corresponding target segment, in the workspace. And every time you activate a segment, text decoration highlights the corresponding text in the Visual mode target window. You can switch between hiding and viewing text decoration.

Procedure. To view or hide text decoration in Visual mode:

  1. Open the relevant file in XTM Workbench.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select In-context preview from the top menu bar. Then, in the dropdown menu, select Open Visual mode. Then, select the relevant option as needed:

    • View decoration – if text decoration in Visual mode is currently disabled and you want to enable it.

    • Hide decoration – if text decoration in Visual mode is currently enabled and you want to disable it.
