Opening a file in Visual mode as a Project Manager

Note

The file you want to open must be in one of the supported formats (for details, see Visual mode in XTM Workbench).

As a Project Manager, you can open a file in Visual mode in a variety of ways.

. To open the file in Visual mode as a Project Manager:

  • When in Projects > Project List > Manage workflow:

    1. In the workflow editor, in language view, select the target language or click the language in the pane.

    2. Hover over the file icon and from its Menu select Open XTM Workbench.

    3. In the Open XTM Workbench for PM window, select Open in Visual mode checkbox (if the file is supported in Visual mode).

  • When in Projects > Project List > Open XTM Workbench:

    1. Select target language.

    2. In the Open XTM Workbench for PM window, select the Open in Visual mode checkbox (if the file format is supported in Visual mode).

  • If you are already in XTM Workbench, select In-context preview from the top menu bar. Then, in the dropdown menu, select Open Visual mode. Result: the relevant file is displayed in Visual mode and the Open Visual mode option is replaced by the Close Visual mode, in the In-context preview menu.
