Opening a file in Visual mode as a Linguist

Note

The file you want to open must be in one of the supported formats (for details, see Visual mode in XTM Workbench).

As a Linguist, you can open the file in Visual mode in various ways.

. To open the file in Visual mode as a Linguist:

  • In XTM Cloud, select Tasks tab, and then, from the context menu ellipsis_vertical_context_menu_brand_refreshed.svg, select Open XTM Workbench in XTM Visual Mode.

  • If you are already in XTM Workbench, select In-context preview from the top menu bar. Then, in the dropdown menu, select Open Visual mode. Result: the relevant file is displayed in Visual mode and the Open Visual mode option is replaced by the Close Visual mode, in the In-context preview menu.
