Managing users

You can view and manage all users from the Users tab in the top navigation bar.

  1. Search for the relevant user. For details, see Searching for users.

  2. Select the context menu icon ellipsis_vertical_context_menu_brand_refreshed.svg in the relevant user's table row, to perform the required action:

  • Activate/Deactivate a user.

    You can deactivate users to prevent them from logging in to XTM Cloud and performing any action there.

    Inactive users are grayed out, in the Users list.

  • Set as unavailable/Set as available to highlight that the user is busy, on holiday or sick, etc. and will not be involved in any new projects until set to available again.

    Unavailable users are marked with a yellow status icon yellow_status_unavailable_icon.svgdisplayed next to their name. They are only grayed out, in the Users list, if they are also inactive or blocked.

  • Unblock a user that has been automatically blocked by the system. This can, for example, happen if a user enters invalid login credentials too many times.

    Blocked users are grayed out, in the Users list. Also, a red status icon red_status_blocked_icon.svg is displayed next to the relevant user's name.

  • Delete a user. This action cannot be undone.
