Simple search tab
To display the Simple search tab screen, from the top navigation bar, select Projects and then Project list > Simple search.
If you have NOT set a default project filter, whenever you log in to XTM Cloud, you see the Simple search tab screen. In it, the buttons that you have selected most recently are still active, and the project list meets their criteria. But the text field next to the Search button is always cleared, even if you have used it in the previous session.

If you have set the default project filter, whenever you log in to XTM Cloud, you see the Advanced search tab screen. In it, the default filter and its results are displayed.
XTM Cloud keeps and displays your most recent simple search results, in the most recent sorting order, with the string you have entered in the text field and the selected buttons:
when you switch between the Projects > Project list tabs during the same session.
when you switch to a different XTM Cloud tab, and then go back to one of the Projects > Project list tabs during the same session.
when, after performing a simple search, you select a project filter from the Filters dropdown, or a project group from the Groups dropdown, and then deactivate them by selecting the close icon to the right of their name.
In the top left corner of the Simple search tab screen, you see a text field and the Search button. Use them to search for the relevant project(s) by the entire or partial value of the parameters listed below.
Tip
If you enter part of the parameter value, all projects containing the relevant string in any of the search parameters will be listed.
Name – the project name. To search for several project names at the same time, separate the relevant phrases with a spaced vertical line | (pipe character).

Customer.
Source language.
Target language.
Date created.
Due date.
Ref ID – the reference ID.
Min Status – shows information about the current minimum status of all language and file workflows in the relevant project. The valid values can be:
Not started – if no language or file workflow in the project has been started.
Predefined list of Workflow steps created by your XTM Cloud Administrator. For details, see Creating workflow steps.
Finished – if any language or file workflow in the project has been finished.
Max Status – displays information about the current maximum status of all language and file workflows in the relevant project. The valid values can be:
Not started – if no language or file workflow in the project has been started.
Predefined list of Workflow steps created by your XTM Cloud Administrator. For details, see Creating workflow steps.
Finished – if any language or file workflow in the project has been finished.
On the right-hand side of the Search button, you see:
buttons for specifying project ownership:
My projects – when you select this button, only projects in which you are the Project Manager are displayed in the project list.
All – when you select this button, the projects owned by all Project Managers are displayed in the project list.
buttons for specifying the current project status:
Active – when you select this button, only projects with the following statuses are displayed in the project list:
Active.
Not started.
In progress.
Partially finished.
Finished.
Activating.
Archived – when you select this button, only Archived and Archiving projects are displayed in the project list. Auto-archived and Auto-archiving projects are not displayed.
Auto-archived – When you select this button, only Auto-archived and Auto-archiving projects are displayed in the project list.
All – when you select this button, projects with all possible statuses are displayed in the project list:
Active.
Archived.
Auto-archived.
Activating.
Archiving.
Auto-archiving.
In the top right corner of the the Simple search tab screen, you see the Add project button. Use it to create a new project.
If you have purchased one of the license types with word limit (for details see Licensing), you see the following below the Add project button:
Processed words – this shows information about the number of processed words which have already been used in your XTM Cloud instance from your:
monthly allowance – in the case of Freelance or Group accounts.
yearly allowance – in the case of Enterprise, Business, or Team accounts.
Renewal date – this is the date by which you need to renew your XTM Cloud subscription.
On the right-hand side of the screen, below the Add project button, you see the following dropdowns:
Groups – use it to:
Filters – use it to:
Columns – use it to manage the columns and information displayed in the tooltips in the project list.
In the center of the Simple search tab screen, you see a list of projects that meet your search criteria. You can manage the columns and information displayed in the tooltips in the project list.
In the bottom left corner of the Simple search tab screen, below the project list, you see the number of entries in it. You can set the number of entries that are displayed on one page to:

In the bottom right corner of the Simple search tab screen, below the project list, you see the number of pages. You can navigate between pages by selecting the page number, or using one of these buttons:
