Opening XTM Workbench for the relevant chat
Note
This procedure only refers to chats created via XTM Workbench, and only in XTM Cloud v 13.5 and higher versions. It works for both: private and public chats.
In the right-hand corner of the top navigation bar, select the XTM Chat icon .
Go to the bottom of the dropdown list.
Select the Access Query management to see more chats button.
Result:
The Query management popup is displayed.
If needed, use the available filter parameters and sorting options to find the required chat.
Select the context menu icon next to the selected chat.
From the dropdown list, select Open XTM Workbench.
Result:
XTM Cloud opens the file that the relevant chat is about, in XTM Workbench, in a new tab.
If the relevant chat refers to the source segment, you can access the relevant file/job in all target languages. In XTM Workbench, use the dropdown to switch between the relevant target languages.
If the relevant chat refers to the target segment then, in XTM Workbench, you only see the relevant file/job in the target language in which the chat has been created.
In both cases, XTM Workbench opens in the currently active step. If no workflow step is currently active, XTM Workbench opens in the first step in the relevant workflow. If you are assigned to the active workflow step, you will access it in edit mode. You will also have edit-mode access to all jobs to which you are assigned and which have this active workflow step. If you are not assigned to the active workflow step, or there is no active workflow step, XTM Workbench opens in read-only mode.
