Managing linguist assignments for all projects in a group
Select Projects > Project groups.
For the relevant project group, select the context menu icon
on the right-hand side of the screen.From the context menu, select Manage projects.
In the Manage projects in group popup, select the Assign linguists tab.
If the projects have different workflows, select a workflow type that you want to modify assignment for.
Assign linguists.
Select the Overwrite assignment checkbox to apply changes to the existing linguist assignments for a particular source language.
Note
Linguists who have previously been assigned to the tasks on the projects in this group will no longer be able to access or see these tasks on their task list, but XTM Cloud will save the progress they made to the tasks.
You cannot assign linguists to projects which are:
still being analyzed.
assigned to an LSP.
archived.
If the projects that you are managing have an active preprocessing step, you will only be able to manage linguist assignments on the preprocessing step for those projects.
Once the preprocessing step is finished, you will be able to manage linguist assignments on further workflow steps.
At the bottom of the popup, click:
Start to start your modified workflow and close the Manage projects in group popup using the
icon.Save to confirm changes before moving to the next tab, or before closing the Manage projects in group popup using the
icon.Cancel to cancel your changes.
Finish workflow to finish the selected workflow for the selected source language and close the Manage projects in group popup using the
icon.
Note
The list containing the projects in a selected project group only displays the projects to which Project Managers have access.
When a project group is managed from the context menu in the Projects > Project groups tab screen, Project Managers can also only update these projects, in the selected group to which they have access.
