Managing chats in the Query management popup
In the right-hand corner of the top navigation bar, select the XTM Chat icon .
Go to the bottom of the dropdown list.
Select the Access Query management to see more chats button.
Result:
The Query management popup is displayed.
In the top section of the Query management popup, you see filter parameters and the Show only unread chats switcher. This will help you search for chats.
In the bottom section of the Query management popup, you see the table with the following information about all chats that you have access to:
information about the chat privacy type:
the globe icon – indicates that the relevant chat is public. It is also visible to users who are not chat participants, but in read-only mode.
no icon – indicates that the chat is private and only visible to chat participants.
presence of unread messages:
red dot next to a chat – indicates that you have an unread message in this chat.
red dot with a @ symbol next to a chat – indicates that you have been mentioned in this chat.
no icon – indicates that you have no new messages or mentions in this chat.
Project name.
File name – If the chat is about the entire project, not a particular file segment, an en dash is displayed.
Target language – If the chat is about the entire project, not a particular target language, an en dash is displayed.
Reference – If the chat is about the entire project, not a particular file segment, an en dash is displayed.
Segment – If the chat is about the entire project, not a particular file segment, an en dash is displayed.
Segment text – If the chat is about the entire project, not a particular file segment, an en dash is displayed.
Priority – If the Project Manager created the chat for the entire project from the Project list, an en dash is displayed until a user sets the chat priority in the Query management popup.
Status – If Project Manager created the chat for the entire project from the Project list, an en dash is displayed until a user sets the chat status in the Query management popup.
Date created.
You can sort all columns, except for the Language column, in:
ascending order.
descending order.
You can set the number of table entries that are displayed on one page in the bottom left corner of the popup:
10.
20.
50.
100.
You see the number of pages with entries in the bottom right corner of the popup.
You can perform the following actions on chats from the Query management popup:
Open XTM Workbench – This option is only displayed if the relevant chat has been created via XTM Workbench. It is also only available for chats created in XTM Cloud version 13.5 and higher. It works for both private and public chats.
Share link to XTM Workbench (read-only) – This option is only displayed if the relevant chat has been created via XTM Workbench. It is also only available for chats created in XTM Cloud version 13.5 and higher. It works for both private and public chats.
Change chat privacy type to public – This option is only displayed if the relevant chat is currently private.
Change chat privacy type to private – This option is only displayed if the relevant chat is currently public.
