LQA report types
There are two main types of LQA report:
Project LQA report.
This report evaluates an entire project. The calculations in this report type are based on the project Metrics. This report lists all errors that occurred in all workflow steps in which the Project Manager has selected one of the following options for the LQA parameter, in the Workflow editor:
Yes, save result in user record.
Yes, don’t save result in user record.
Both evaluated and LQA steps need to be finished in XTM Workbench and all relevant segments must be set to Completed for the report to be generated. Additionally, Linguists must stay assigned to both evaluated and LQA steps even after the LQA step has been finished.
Project Managers can download this type of report:
collectively, for all project files.
This report can be downloaded from:
Projects > Project list > [relevant project name] > context menu icon > Download > LQA report.
Project editor > Workflow tab. From the project context menu for the entire project, select Reports > LQA report.
for a particular project file.
To do so, they need to open the relevant project in the Project editor, select the Workflow tab and find the relevant file. Then, from the relevant file's context menu, they must select Reports > LQA report.
Linguist LQA report.
This report evaluates the work of a particular linguist. The calculations in this report type are based on a project's Statistics. This report only lists errors made by the relevant linguist in the segments they have changed manually.
Example 1:
The translated file contains segments which are automatically marked as Completed (for example, ICE segments). However, these segments contain errors. The evaluated linguist does not correct them, or change these segments in any way, and finishes their task. The evaluator then marks these errors in the LQA step. These errors will NOT be listed in the linguist LQA report because the linguist did not actively work on the segments that contain these errors.
Example 2:
The translated file contains segments from the TM, that contain errors (for example, ICE segments). The evaluated linguist does not correct these errors, but changes the segment statuses to Completed and finishes their task. The evaluator then marks these errors in the LQA step. These errors will be listed in the linguist LQA report because the linguist has actively worked on the segments that contain these errors.
Before the Project Manager can run this type of report, they must first:
add the LQA (evaluating) step after the evaluated step in the workflow.
add any CAT tool step which has the Yes, save result in user record option selected for the LQA feature in the Workflow editor.
Note
The Yes, don’t save result in user record option selected for the LQA feature in the Workflow editor will only make any errors that exist visible in Workbench to other linguists in the workflow. However, it will not be possible to run the linguist LQA report based on them.
Both evaluated and LQA steps need to be finished in XTM Workbench and all relevant segments must be set to Completed for the report to be generated. Additionally, Linguists must stay assigned to both evaluated and LQA steps even after the LQA step has been finished.
Project Managers can download this type of report:
for a particular project:
from the Project Editor.
To do so, they must open the relevant project in the Project Editor, select the LQA tab and decide whether to download the report:
Per file – the report contains all the LQA errors in a particular file.
Per language – the report contains all LQA errors in all project files. Results for a particular file are listed separately within the document and sorted per target language.

The REST API method can be used to display information available in Project Editor > LQA tab. For details, see the REST API documentation: https://www.xtm-cloud.com/rest-api/#tag/Project-LQA/operation/getLqa.
