File size limitations in XTM Cloud
In XTM Cloud and most XTM Suite and Private Cloud instances, the maximum file size that you can upload at one time is 700MB, in the following areas of the program:
Source files in project creation.
Reference material for projects or customers.
Translation memory import.
Customer data import.
User data import.
The maximum terminology import limit is 150MB.
Tip
If you have files that exceed the supported file size, compressing them into a .zip file may reduce their size.
XTM Cloud automatically deletes old target and preview files from projects. For each file type, it checks the number of generated files in the Target files history, in Project Editor > Files tab. If the number of generated files of the relevant type exceeds the predefined limit, it removes the oldest files. By default, the oldest files are removed, if:
more than 10 files of the same type have been generated.
more than 3 files of the same type have been generated, and their total size is greater than 100MB.
The limit can be changed at the client’s request.
