Data – Custom fields – Project custom fields

XTM Cloud enables you to create custom fields for projects that can be completed during project creation and are available in the advanced search screen.

Procedure. Adding a new Project custom field
  1. Select Configuration > Data > Custom fields > Project custom fields.

  2. Select the Add button.

    Result: The Add custom field popup is displayed.

  3. In the Add custom field popup:

    1. Enter a unique custom field name in the Field name text field.

    2. Choose one Field type:

      • Checkbox.

      • Date.

      • Dropdown – Enter your list of values that can be selected for that field.

      • Multiple selection – Enter your list of values that can be selected for that field.

      • Number.

      • Text field.

    3. Select Active if you want your new custom field to already be available for use. If you do not activate it now, you can do it later, by editing an existing custom field.

    4. Select Obligatory if you want your new custom field to be mandatory.

    5. Select Custom MT, if you want the custom field to be available in your customized machine translation engine.

    6. At the bottom of the popup, select Save.

Result: Project custom field can be added during project creation or in the Project General info tab.
