  2. In the Phrase text box, enter the phrase for which you want to perform a concordance search.

  3. Select the matching type:

    • Broad match – finds segments containing at least one of the words from the searched phrase by using stemming and ignoring stop words.

    • Phrase match – finds segments that contain the entire searched phrase, stop words are also searched for.

    • Exact match – finds segments that equal the entire searched phrase, but the searched phrase cannot only contain stop words.

  4. Define the search area:

  5. If required, select the following parameters:

    • Reverse matches – If you select this parameter, the search returns the match results found for a reverse language pair than the one selected from the Language combination dropdown.

For example, when you selected English (USA) => French (France), this parameter will return also the results for the French (France) => English (USA) search.

      Note

To search for every English language variant => every French language variant, also select the Reverse matches parameter.

In this case, the results of both searches will be displayed as an aggregated list with a maximum of 100 entries, from which duplicate entries (in which the source segments and the target segments are the same) will be excluded.
