Changing chat privacy type to public
To change chat privacy type to public in the Query management popup:
  1. In the right-hand corner of the top navigation bar, select the XTM Chat icon Chats_brand_refreshed.svg.

  2. Go to the bottom of the dropdown list.

  3. Select the arrow-up-right-from-square-regular.svg Access Query management to see more chats button.

    Result:

    The Query management popup is displayed.

  4. If needed, use the available filter parameters and sorting options to find the required chat.

  5. Select the context menu icon elipsis.svg next to the selected chat.

  6. From the dropdown list, select Change to public.

    Result:

    A Confirm changes popup is displayed.

  7. In the Confirm changes popup, select Confirm to make the chat public.

Result:

Chat is now public. It is visible to all users. However, users who are not chat participants can only access it in read-only mode.

Public chats created with an LSP are public on contractor's side. On the LSP's side however, they are only visible to the LSP PM. They are hidden from LSP linguists.

Note

All Project Managers can change the participants list of an existing public chat at any time. Even, if they are not chat participant themselves.
