XTM Cloud 13.4

LSP LQA results

Your XTM Cloud Administrator must first enable subcontracting in your XTM Cloud instance, so that you can set up a connection with a subcontractor and send projects to them. For details, see Enabling subcontracting.

Translations provided by LSPs can be evaluated and scored during the contractor’s LQA workflow step.

An XTM Cloud Administrator or Project Manager must first enable this option for the relevant LSP in LSP Editor > unlock-alt-solid.svg Access rights > LQA.

In the Projects > LSP LQA tab screen, LSPs can see the LQA reports in which they are:

  • an Evaluee – LSPs can see percentage scores and download LQA reports for projects they have completed.

  • an Evaluator – Projects in which the LSP performed LQA on a translation supplied by the contractor’s internal resources or vendors.

LSP LQA reports are generated per file.

The contractor is able to see the LSP’s LQA in steps that were created by the contractor. When report is generated, the data entered by the LSP is also included.

The evaluated and the LQA step need to be finished in XTM Workbench and all relevant segments must be set to Completed green-tick.svg for the report to be generated. Additionally, linguists must stay assigned to both steps even after the LQA step has been finished.

LQA results are presented in a table containing the following information:

  • Project name.

  • LSP name – the Company name of the relevant LSP, as entered in Users > LSPs.

  • Source language.

  • Target language.

  • Workflow step.

  • Filename.

  • Score.

  • Words.

  • Evaluator.

  • Test completed.

LSPs can select the following LSP-specific options from the context menu icon bars-solid.png to the left of the relevant LQA result:

  • download-solid.svg Download LQA report – download the LSP LQA report in MS Excel format. This report evaluates the work of a particular LSP. The calculations in this report type are based on a project's Statistics. This report only lists errors made by the relevant LSP in the segments they have changed manually.

This report displays the following information for the relevant project:

    • Evaluee.

    • Evaluator.

    • Severity multipliers.

    • Word count.

    • Issue types.

    • Weight of the LQA errors.

    • Issue count.

    • Penalty.

    • Target subscore.

    • Total score.

  • download-solid.svg Download extended report – download the extended LSP LQA report in Ms Excel format.

In addition to information displayed in the standard LQA report, this report contains the Extended table tab with these column headers:

    • ID – Segment ID.

    • Source – Source text.

    • Target – The final version of the target text with information who completed it and when.

    • LQA errors – Type and severity of an error and the workflow stage at which it has been reported.

    • Comment.

    • Corrector changes – Changes made to the target segment by the user assigned to the next workflow step.

    • Last revision – Changes made to target segment after rollback to the translate workflow step.

  • trash-solid.svg Delete – remove an item from the list.

This option only enables LSPs to delete a particular report from their user interface. If they do so, the LQA errors listed in the report will not be deleted. These errors will still be stored on the server and can be listed in another LQA report.
