Data – Custom fields – Terminology custom fields
  1. Select Configuration > Data > Custom fields > Terminology custom fields.

  2. Select the Add button.

    Result: The Add custom field popup is displayed.

  3. In the Add custom field popup:

    1. Enter a unique custom field name in the Field name text field.

    2. Choose one Field type:

      • Dropdown – Enter your list of values that can be selected for that field.

      • Hyperlink.

      • Multiple selection – Enter your list of values that can be selected for that field.

      • Number.

      • Text field.

    3. Enter a unique TBX name in the TBX name text field.

      Note

      TBX name refers to the term property when it is exported to a TBX file. The concept or term radio buttons enable you to define where the field should be displayed. The Active checkbox allows you to activate or deactivate this custom field.

    4. Use the Show in radio buttons to specify, if your new terminology custom field should be displayed in a:

      • concept.

      • term.

    5. Select Active if you want your new custom field to already be available for use. If you do not activate it now, you can do it later, by editing an existing custom field.

    6. At the bottom of the popup, select Save.
