Additional actions for charts

When you hover over a chart, you can see some of these additional options, above the relevant chart:

  • Reset icon turn-left-solid__1_.svg. This icon is only displayed for some charts and only if you have made changes to them. Select it to restore the default view for the relevant chart.

  • Drill up from... to... icon arrow_up_blue.svg. This icon is only displayed for some charts. It is only active if it is still possible to move to the higher-level data. Click it once to go up one level in the data hierarchy.

  • Drill down from... to... icon arrow_down_blue.svg. This icon is only displayed for some charts. It is only active if it is still possible to move to the lower-level data. Click it once to go down one level in the data hierarchy.

  • Optional metrics icon optional_metrics_blue.svg. This icon is only displayed for some charts. Use it to select, in the dropdown, one or more optional metrics that will be additionally displayed in the relevant chart.

  • Sort icon sort_blue.svg. Select this icon to sort data in the relevant chart by the relevant data category, either in ascending or descending order.

  • View applied filters icon bars_filter_blue.svg. When you select it, you see the Applied filters pane on the right-hand side of the screen. In it, all the filters that you have selected are displayed.

  • More icon ellipsis_vertical_blue.svg. When you select it, these additional options can be displayed:

    • Sort by. Select this option to sort data in the relevant chart by the relevant data category, either in ascending or descending order.

    • Drill up. This option is only displayed for some charts. It is only active if it is still possible to move to the higher-level data. Select it to go one level up in the data hierarchy.

    • Drill down. This option is only displayed for some charts. It is only active if it is still possible to move to the lower-level data. Select it to go one level down in the data hierarchy.

    • Reset. This option is only active if you have changed the relevant chart's setting. Select this option to return to the default settings.

    • Export. Select this option to export the relevant chart. As a result, the Export Data popup is displayed. In it, select the relevant settings and then select Export in the bottom right-hand corner of the popup. You can:

      • select the Name for your export file.

      • select the relevant format, in the Export As section:

        • CSV (default).

        • CSV (Excel).

        • Google Sheets.

      • use the Keep value formatting checkbox in the Options section:

        • selected: the exported data will be editable.

        • cleared: the exported data will NOT be editable.
