Filtering the XTM tasks project list
If you have received a large number of XTM Cloud translation tasks, you can restrict the number of translation projects displayed in the main XTM tasks screen to the ones you require. To do so, you set filter criteria that a project must match, to be displayed.
If you specify more than one filter criterion, a translation project must match every one of the criteria you specify, for it to be displayed in the main XTM tasks screen.
Select the vertical XTM Tasks bar on the left of the screen, in Trados Studio. The XTM Tasks Filter Tasks selection box is displayed.
Select the criteria with which you want to find the projects you require:
XTM project name. Even if you only enter one letter, such as "e", only project names containing that letter are displayed.
Studio project name (corresponds to Studio project name in the XTM Cloud Tasks project list).
XTM workflow step dropdown. Only valid workflow steps (which have been selected in a translation project, in XTM Cloud) are displayed for selection.
Studio status dropdown. Default: Show all tasks (no filter). Other possible values for selection: New, Project created or Finished.
From XTM due date (date chooser calendar function).
To XTM due date (date chooser calendar function).
From Studio due date (date chooser calendar function).
To Studio due date (date chooser calendar function).
Above each date chooser, there is a Clear button which you can use to reset a date there, if it is selected.
Enter all the filter criteria that you require. As soon as you enter text in any one of the project name fields, or select a value in any one of the other fields, it is applied as a filter and the projects list changes to match your filter criteria.
If you specify more than one filter criterion, a translation project must match every one of the criteria you specify for it to be displayed in the main XTM tasks project list.
Result: the projects that match your settings are displayed.
To close the Filter Tasks selection box, press Esc or click on the main XTM tasks project list.
Resetting the tasks filter
To reset the tasks filter, select the Reset filters button at the bottom of the Filter Tasks selection box. Your filter settings are canceled.
