Monitoring the translation process

To monitor the progress of different translation projects in XTM Cloud:

  1. Log in to Optimizely.

  2. For Optimizely version 12: in the main panel, in the top navigation bar, select the XTM Connect tab. Then, select the Projects subtab.

    For Optimizely version 11: in the main panel, in the top navigation bar, select the Admin tab. Then, in the left-hand side panel, select the Admin subtab. Next, in the Tools section, select the XTM Bulk Upload option. Finally, at the bottom of the XTM Admin Tool screen, select the Project list button.

  3. XTM Connect – Optimizely displays a list of the translation projects that are currently in progress. If there are a large number of projects, it might take some time to display the project list.

    A project can have one of these statuses:

    • Finished: the translation project has been completed in XTM Cloud but has not yet been imported into Optimizely.

    • InProgress: the translation project is still being worked on in XTM Cloud.

    • Error: there is a problem. Either the project status could not be retrieved from XTM Cloud, the project is missing in XTM Cloud or XTM Connect – Optimizely could not send the project to Optimizely.

Note

If required, you can delete a project that is listed. If you do so, you do not delete the source content that was selected for translation, in the project.
