Configuring XTM Schedule Tree Content Synchronization (Optimizely version 12)
If you are running Optimizely version 12, follow the procedure below to configure XTM Schedule Tree Content Synchronization.
Log in to Optimizely.
In the main panel, in the top navigation bar, select the Admin tab. Then, select the Scheduled jobs subtab. In the Scheduled Jobs list, select XTM Schedule Tree Content Synchronization. Finally, in the left hand-side panel, select Settings.
In the Settings tab screen, configure the When to run details for an automatic tree content synchronization:
For the Start Date (UTC) setting, use the date and time picker to set the time and date for the first scheduled synchronization. Alternatively, use your keyboard to enter the relevant values.
In the dropdown below the Start Date (UTC) date and time pickers, select the frequency at which the automatic synchronization will be performed. The options are:
Do not repeat – If you only want the automatic scheduled synchronization to be performed once, at the time and date that you selected in the Start Date (UTC) setting.
Every 5 seconds.
Every minute.
Hourly.
Daily.
Weekly.
Monthly.
Custom – If you select this option, the Custom Repeat popup is displayed. In it, select the Repeat every values and then select the Save button:
In the text field, enter the required numeric value.
In the dropdown, select the relevant frequency:
second.
minute.
hour.
day.
week.
month.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, select:
Revert to cancel your changes and restore the previous scheduled synchronization settings.
Save Scheduled Job to save your scheduled tree content synchronization settings.
Result: your scheduled tree content synchronization has been configured and a success message is displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Now you can:
check the details for the next scheduled synchronization. For details, see Checking details for the next scheduled synchronization.
check the status of your past scheduled tree content synchronizations. For details, see Checking the status of the previous tree content synchronizations.
start the synchronization manually. For details, see Starting a tree content synchronization manually (Optimizely 12).
