Configuring translation reimport with Scheduled Jobs
You can use a scheduled job, in Optimizely, to regularly check the status of ongoing translation projects in XTM Cloud. Then, when a project is finished in XTM Cloud, its status will automatically be updated in XTM Connect – Optimizely and the translation project content can be reimported into Optimizely.
Once a project has been finished in XTM Cloud, and reimported into Optimizely, it is removed from the project list in XTM Connect – Optimizely, provided there are no issues with the translations.
If the reimport into Optimizely fails for any reason, the project is not removed from the list in XTM Connect – Optimizely. Instead, the reimport is repeated at the next scheduled time, or when triggered manually.
Log in to Optimizely.
In the main Optimizely screen, select the Settings icon
. You see the Settings screen. In the settings list on the left of the screen, scroll down until you see the Scheduled Jobs option (which is highlighted in blue text).
Select the Scheduled Jobs option. You see the Scheduled Jobs pane, in which existing scheduled jobs are listed.
In the Scheduled Jobs pane, select the scheduled job that you want to configure. A Details pane opens first, and you see the scheduled job's details.
To change the scheduled job's configuration, select the Settings option on the left of the screen. You see the Settings pane, in which the scheduled job's configuration is listed.
If required, use the date picker field to select the date in the future on which the scheduled job is to start running.
If required, use the time picker field to select the time, on the selected day, at which the scheduled job is to start running.
From the time intervals dropdown, below the two fields described above, select the frequency at which the scheduled job is to run. A large number of options are available. (You can even run the job manually, if required.)
To save your settings, select the Save Scheduled Job button at the bottom of the Settings pane, on the right. A system message confirms that the settings have been saved.
