SharePoint connection parameters
In the Add Profile screen, now set the SharePoint connection parameters, below the Profile identification details:
Display the SharePoint connection parameters for this profile. To do so, in the SHAREPOINT SETTINGS section, select Disconnected from the Connect to SharePoint dropdown. New fields are displayed below it. Enter your settings in them.
Note
Your system administrator will provide you with the credentials that you enter in steps 2. to 6. below. For a list of these credentials, and their origin, also see Settings saved for later use in connection profiles.
Enter the SharePoint URL. This is the URL of the MS SharePoint Drive system to which this profile will be connected.
Enter the SharePoint client ID followed by the @ symbol and the SharePoint tenant ID.
The SharePoint tenant ID specifies the GUID of your Office 365 environment, which links all services to which you actually want to connect, using this particular profile. That includes the Microsoft SharePoint Drive instance.
Example: if your client ID is 2222 and your tenant ID is 5555, enter: 2222@5555.
Enter the SharePoint client secret.
Enter the SharePoint tenant ID.
Enter the SharePoint site name. This is the name of the Microsoft SharePoint Drive site to which you actually want to connect, using this particular profile. (There can be multiple sites on one instance.)
Select the Connect to SharePoint button to open the connection to Microsoft SharePoint Drive.
Result: Once the connection to Microsoft SharePoint Drive is established, the Connect to SharePoint field content changes to Connected. Microsoft SharePoint Drive synchronization method parameters are displayed below it. Now set the SharePoint synchronization method parameters.
