XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive 1.5.1/Administrator Guide

Filtering event notifications

You can filter the events list by different criteria to display only the events that are relevant to you. You can select single or multiple criteria. If you select multiple criteria, only events that match all of these filters will be displayed.

To filter the events list to display specific events:
  1. In the XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive Event Log tab screen, select the Filter button at the top of the screen, on the left. You see the filter popup.

    • In plain text filter criterion fields, enter the relevant value.

    • In filter criterion fields containing dropdowns, select the relevant value.

  2. In the filter popup, select relevant event Types. They can be one or more of the following:

    • ERROR

    • INFORMATION

    • SUCCESS or

    • WARNING

  3. To only find events that occurred for projects created with specific connection profiles, select them in the Connection Profile field.

To filter the projects, enter a string of characters in the Connection Profile field. Only projects with the connection profile ID that you enter are displayed. You do not, for example, have to select the magnifying glass icon in the Connection Profile field to trigger filtering.

  4. To find events that occurred on a specific date, select it in the Date Occurred field. The event date cannot be set in the future, so future dates are grayed out in the date picker.

To set a specific date in the filter:
    1. In the Date Occurred field, select the date picker Calendar icon.

    2. In the Calendar popup, select the date on which you want to find events that occurred. By default, the current day's date is displayed. Change it as required.

    3. Change the due date from the current day's date, if required.

    4. Select the filter popup to close the date picker popup.

To set a date range in the filter:
    1. Select the date picker Calendar icon in the Date Occurred field.

    2. In the Calendar popup, select one of the date ranges shown on the right:

      • Last year

      • Last month

      • Last 14 days

      • Yesterday

      • Today

    3. Select the filter popup to close the date picker popup.

  5. When you have set the criteria you require, select Apply filters to apply your filter settings. The Filter popup closes. XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive filters the events list and only displays the ones that are relevant to you.

Alternatively, select Clear filters to cancel your filter settings. The Filter popup closes. XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive displays the events list in the same way as before.
