Exporting the event details for all displayable events

You can export the event details for all displayable events to an MS Excel file. In the Event Log tab screen, the maximum number of events whose details can be exported at one time is defined by the list display restriction setting. You see the current setting in the Show [number] entries field in the top left-hand corner of the events list.

Note

You cannot display more than 100 events at a time. For this reason, you cannot generate an MS Excel export list containing details for more than 100 items (maximum).

To export the details for additional sets of up to 100 events, select the pages that contain them. Then perform the export procedure again.

To export the event details for all displayable events:
  1. Select the checkbox to the left of the Type column heading, at the top of the screen, on the left.

  2. Select the Export button above the Type column heading, at the top of the screen, on the left. XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive exports the details for the selected events to an MS Excel spreadsheet and places it in your computer's local Downloads folder.

  3. You can now access the MS Excel spreadsheet there, and process it as required.
