Copying an event stack trace
In the Event Log tab screen, you can display and copy an event's stack trace text. This enables you, for example, to send the event's stack trace text to your Support team. This is useful if you need to investigate why an event has occurred.
To copy an event's stack trace text in the Event Log tab screen:
In the event line, on the far right of the screen, select the stack trace icon for the event. You do not need to select the event in the event line. XTM Connect – Microsoft SharePoint Drive copies the event's stack trace text to the Clipboard on your computer. It displays a message to tell you that the stack trace and message have been copied.
You can now, for example, paste the stack trace text into an email message and send it to your Support team, if requested to do so.
