Defining custom content element (iframe) embedded in CMS

In order for the end-users to be able to use the iframe when logging in to XTM Connect - Kontent by Kentico application embedded in CMS, the administrator user must first define a custom content element to serve as an embedded iframe for the particular content model.

To define custom content element (iframe) embedded in CMS:
  1. Log in to Kontent by Kentico using your administrator credentials.

  2. Go to the Content model on the left and click it.

  3. Find the name of the content type for which you wish to create a custom content element and click on it.

  4. From the Content elements on the right drag the Custom element and drop it to the desired area of configured content.

    Tip

    You can move the elements up and down as needed.

  5. Provide the details of the custom element:

    • Title of your custom content element of up to fifty characters

    • Optionally, set the element as required by selecting the checkbox

    • Hosted code URL (HTTPS) - the default production URL to be able to use the XTM-Connect (https://kontent-connector.xtm-intl.com/app/)

    • Allow the custom element to read values of specific elements - select all elements that are available for you

    • Parameters {JSON} - leave empty (see Kentico Kontent manual for more information)

  6. Click Save changes.
